The History and Heritage Hallway Display Project
A historical exhibit highlighting the development of Advanced Composite Materials and the invaluable contributions of the Air Force Materials Laboratory.

History and Heritage Hallway Display
We collaborated closely with our client in an iterative process to tell this story one of the most important discoveries of the twentieth century.
A collaboration with colleagues Sarah Perez and David Perkins, with Merill Minges of the Air Force Materials and Manufacturing Alumni Association and Lori Hughes of Wright Site Displays.
We created simple square and rectangular tiles to tell the advanced composites story in chronologically cohesive way. Each panel contains historically significant images melded with minimal text and backed by an image of advanced composite fabric that tied the composition together.

Timeline
As we neared completion on this project, we felt we needed a piece to pull all of the events together in a convenient visual way. I created a timeline that depicted the flow of events as well as showed when significant contributors worked at the Materials Laboratory.
